My name is Patrick "Rootin" Tutin   No spelling error, just a play on my last name.

I am local to the Peace Country where I began pursuing tattooing many years ago. I worked as a heavy equipment for a living for years while I worked on being a safe competent tattooist and developed my artistic skills along the way. Unfortunately, I did not have a life where I could give my all to a mentor and ignore my living expenses and responsibilities, but I still very much had a passion for the art of tattoo and was not going to stop until I made a mark within the industry and amongst my peers.

 Growing up my preferred medium was simply pencil, which is likely why I gravitated towards Black and Grey Tattooing. My interests are realism, wildlife, the macabre, abstract black and grey and freehand.

So far, I am 3 time award winning Black and Grey. 2 awards at The Calgary Tattoo and Arts Festival and 1 award from The Windy City Tattoo Convention in Lethbridge, Alberta.  Nationally, I have tattooed as far East as Toronto. Globally I've a been an attending artist at The Amsterdam Tattoo convention. These achievements, however humble to some, meant a lot to me. I truly appreciate all of the support from friends, clients and peers and even the negative shit and nay sayers I've endured pursuing my dream, cheers to you for motivating me this far.
